Adesso Albums® To Auction Celebrity-Filled Albums on Ebay
Albums filled at 2007 NAACP Image Awards and Night of 100 Stars to be auctioned for Autism Speaks
San Francisco, CA – March 15, 2007- Adesso Albums (www.adessoalbums.com) is helping increase autism awareness by donating all of the proceeds from their online charity auction to Los Angeles-based, Autism Speaks. The Company will be auctioning four of its albums full of celebrity photos and autographs on eBay through the eBay Giving Works Program. The albums will be available for bid from March 15 through March 18, 2007.
Adesso Albums was honored to be a part of both the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards and the Night of 100 Stars official viewing party for the 79th Annual Academy Awards. During the two star-studded events Polaroid instant photos were taken of over 100 celebrities including Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, Jon Voight, Lou Gossett Jr. and Richard Dreyfuss. The photos, along with personal, handwritten messages from the stars in the Adesso Album Instant Photo Guest Books® created priceless celebrity keepsakes.
“We were thrilled to be asked to participate in both of these exciting events,” said Lesley Mattos, Founder of Adesso Albums. “What was truly amazing was how excited the celebrities were to participate in creating these albums to benefit Autism Speaks. They are just packed with well know talents and will surely receive a lot of attention on Ebay.”
Adesso Albums’ patent pending concept is revolutionizing the traditional guest book market. The albums combine Polaroid instant photos taken of guests at events – such as weddings, bridal or baby showers, birthday, anniversary or graduation parties or the Image Awards or The Night of 100 Stars – with personalized hand written sentiments from those guests, creating a unique, one of a kind, real time memento of the event that can be enjoyed the instant the event is over.
The annual NAACP Image Awards is the nation’s premier event celebrating the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice.
The Night of 100 Stars is produced by super agent Norby Walters and is the “number one Oscar party just for the sheer number of celebrities attending,” according to the Daily News. The annual event is a once in a lifetime opportunity to wine, dine, and mingle with over 200 celebrities who gather to watch the Academy Awards ceremonies together.
