How to Make An Instant Photo Guest Book®
Who does it?
Lots of choices here!
- You can ask a good friend/s or family member.
- Or someone who's coming in from out of town and won't know too many people can use the Adesso Album to "mingle with a purpose" and get to meet a ton of people during the course of the event.
- OR, if you don't want to impose on a friend or family member, and are using an event consultant and/or a professional photographer, you might see if (for an extra fee) he/she could provide an assistant during the celebration to circulate with the Adesso Album and present you with the completed album at the end of the event.
- Make sure that whoever does this is outgoing, energetic and will take the job seriously so that every guest is included in this keepsake.
What do you need?
- One Adesso Album Instant Photo Guest Book® for every 60-75 guests you’re expecting. (Each album holds 30 photos which, when you take into account couples and groups, we estimate will accommodate 60-75 guests)
- One Polaroid instant camera and two twin packs (40 exposures) of Polaroid 600 film for each album.
- A couple of archival quality pens on hand for each album – test the pens out beforehand on some plain paper to make sure they dry quickly and don’t leave that "glop" of ink that some ball points tend to leave after they’ve been used for a while. There’s nothing worse than not being able to read what someone’s written because it smeared

Why would you?
- Because life events come and go quickly.
- Because friends and family come together in a unique way for these events.
- Because it’s a great icebreaker and a wonderful way to bring guests together in a common activity – creating a special keepsake for you.
- Because you have a complete memory of the event from your guests’ perspective the instant it’s over.

How do you make it?
- You take the Adesso Album/s, camera/s, film and pens to the event.
- Complete a couple of pages – pictures and written sentiments – to serve as an example of what people are supposed to do.
- Get everyone’s photo and slide it into the specially designed die cut in one of the pages – you can do this by setting up a table somewhere for people to go to, get there picture taken and write in the album OR you can have people circulate throughout the party getting people to pose and sign. Whoever’s in charge of the table or circulating needs to be diligent about encouraging people to participate and it usually works better in teams – one photographer per album and one other person per album rounding up people and guiding them to the table or the circulating photographer.
- Have the guests write a note to the honoree/s of the event.
- Present the completed Adesso Album to the honoree/s at the end of the event.
