A photo albums 'revival'

An overwhelming human desire to reflect upon holidays, weddings, parties and births will cause a revival in the popularity of photo albums, it has been claimed.

The Australian stated that as technology has evolved, families are taking more and more photographs with digital cameras and storing them on CDs or online.

However, this has led to a dramatic decrease in those special wedding albums, family photo albums and even a loss of the traditional baby album.

The newspaper claimed that this trend is unlikely to continue, as people are often struck by a "powerful emotion" to flick through photo albums of their childhood and relive special memories.

It stated: "The novelty of having the capacity to take hundreds of photos will wear off within a decade and once again those glorious time capsules of family memories, the photo albums, will bloom again."

Money tips writer Marshall Loeb recently commented on MarketWatch that photo albums filled with memories or shared holiday snaps can make great wedding presents.ADNFCR-1501-ID-18590735-ADNFCR
