Alyson Hannigan prepares for baby

Getting ready for a new baby requires a lot of preparation - from picking out the baby album to painting the nursery.

Mother-to-be Alyson Hannigan and husband Alexis Denisof seem to be enjoying every minute of this pre-birth planning.

Desnisof told Star magazine that his wife is eagerly shopping for baby keepsakes. "As soon as she gets a minute off, she want to go to a baby store and fiddle with the clothes and look at the cribs," he remarked. "Slowly we are collecting onesies!"

The How I Met Your Mother actress would not divulge whether her child is set to be a little boy or a little girl, but she did say the couple has been discussion which name will eventually grace the baby album.

They explained how they each make a list of names they like, then they swap and let the other one eliminate any suggestions they would not be able to live with.

Hannigan and Denisof met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She played Buffy's best friend Willow, while he played Wesley.
