Baby keepsake items 'hard to part with'

Baby keepsake items are the sort of things that are impossible to part with, reported the New York Post-Standard.

The newspaper advised moms and dads that when little ones have grown up and moved out, to only keep the baby keepsake gifts they "really cherish".

Mother-of-two Paula A Nobile said that she is holding onto a photo box in which she keeps the baby album, sonogram shots, hospital ID bracelets and baptismal gowns of her kids.

"I thought that it would be really nice to give them when they grow up and would appreciate it as a keepsake," she explained.

Another mom-of-two, Anna Maria Lankes, said that she cannot bear to throw out the crib where her children slept as babies.

"Hopefully, it will stay in good shape for my grandchildren to use," she remarked.

Guests at actress Minnie Driver's recent baby shower all wrote personal messages for the mother and child in a baby scrapbook, reported People magazine.ADNFCR-1501-ID-18673093-ADNFCR
