Keep party ideas "tasteful"

Bachelor and bachelorette parties should be "low-key and tasteful", it has been claimed.

Although those doing the party planning may have other more outrageous ideas in mind, the Daily Telegraph has stated that a classier affair may go down better with the bride and grooms-to-be.

The newspaper advised: "Dinner in a stylish restaurant is a far classier way to celebrate, especially if you're getting married at the end of the summer, by which time your friends will fast be running out of holiday time, money and the will to live."

Going on cheap holidays wearing tacky, printed t-shirts should be avoided, it added, no matter how fun these sorts of party ideas may seem.
