Uma Thurman 'wedding planning'

Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman is wedding planning after her financier boyfriend Arpad (Arki) Busson proposed, it has been confirmed.

A representative of the actress told the New York Daily News that the couple are coming up with wedding ideas.

Thurman was spotted at Elton John's tenth White Tie and Tiara Benefit in Windsor last week with an engagement ring so big that "she can't fit it through the sleeve of her coat", a friend said.

"Everyone is so happy for Uma," the source added. "Arky is a guy who can take care of her.

"It's a done deal. They're already planning the wedding."

Swiss financier Arpad has two children with supermodel Elle Macpherson, while Uma has two with fellow actor Ethan Hawke.

People magazine reports that the engagement ring is an eight-plus carat ring surrounded by 20 smaller stones.

Uma was said to be completely surprised by the proposal, which occurred while they were staying in London last week.
