And here at Adesso, we’ve looked beyond the leaky windows and freezing office temperatures (old building, bad heating), donned our Corporate-issued fleeces and have been busy planting the seeds that will bloom when Spring finally decides to get here. PRWeb, March 23, 2006 -- Celebrities gathered on March 5, 2006 at the Beverly Hills Hotel for the “Night of 100 Stars” – the official viewing party for the 78th Annual Academy Awards – and Adesso Albums was there to greet the stars with an album for their gift bag and an opportunity to help the Katrina relief effort. During the event, Adesso Albums Creator and Founder, Lesley Mattos and her team created two Adesso Albums’ Instant Photo Guest Books filled with Polaroid instant photos of over 50 celebrities along with their handwritten well wishes to Ellen DeGeneres and her fund raising efforts to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. It is the Company’s hope that the one of a kind albums, now in the possession of the Ellen Show production team, will fetch a handsome sum when they’re auctioned off on eBay. “Getting to meet some of the celebrities I grew up watching on television, on stage and in the theatre as well as so many that I’ve enjoyed as an adult was a real treat,” said Mattos. “But witnessing their enthusiasm and willingness to participate in the creation of these albums to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina was something I’ll never forget.” ### Oh, and just between us...we're hoping we might even be asked to present the albums to Ellen on air (where we’ll give each audience member a complimentary Adesso Album, of course!) You never know!

In spite of the freezing hail and snow here in San Francisco, the calendar says it’s Spring again! Instead of focusing on the lack of “Spring-like” weather, I’ve been using it as an opportunity to catch up on some indoor activities like Spring cleaning (while watching movies), reading and even a little experimentation in the kitchen! Can’t change the weather, so might as well embrace it!
